The Irony of Loneliness was created when the world was in lockdown, especially the UK. At a time when everyone felt alone, Myla worked hard in her little home studio to create something unique, magnetic and fresh, a pandemic wasn't putting her career on hold any time soon.

Using only what she had at her finger tips, having to learn new skills and all her creative juices, T.I.O.L was born. Working throughout the corona virus on the frontline as a HCA in the day, it was a stressful time. Her days were spent in PPE whilst her nights were filled with music, marketing and getting creative. Myla expresses' "It was an exciting and exhausting time, I knew I was working towards something I had wanted in so long, to release an EP, but exhausting working 12 hours a day, in hot PPE, trying to avoid COVID!".

This EP takes you on a personal journey of healing, empowerment and romance. Taken from her own experiences and made into something beautiful. With smooth vocals and emotive lyrics, you will be drawn into the music and it will certainly get under your skin. Each track tells you a different story of the stages you go through from leaving a toxic relationship and finding someone new, learning to love and trust again after being hurt and realising your self worth. Something that all of us have been through at one stage in their life. Myla is an artist that resonates with many, her lyrics will make you feel like the song was written for you.

Her second release 'Mistake', from the EP, was crowned BBC Introducing's Track of the Week and had an exclusive play on radio stations such as BBC Introducing Essex, Phoenix FM and Gateway FM. With many BBC Essex interviews under her belt, 5 star ratings from the UK song writing Competition, and much more, this is an artist that you don't want to miss out on.
